The Great Sandy Desert Project comprises unconventional oil and gas resources held within the Lower Goldwyer Formation (GIII Formation) consisting of Ordovician age shales within the onshore Canning Basin. Theia Energy drilled a successful discovery well (Theia-1) in 2015 proving up a continuous 70 metre oil column. Theia Energy holds over 1 million acres within the basin within exploration permit 493 and special prospecting authority 21 with an acreage option. The project, albeit at an early exploration stage, has substantial potential for development. Theia Energy is open to speaking with investors and potential partners to join the project and accelerate the development of this much-needed resource in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
